Employee Child Care Financial Assistance — WVU offers benefits-eligible employees a Child Care Financial Assistance Program designed to help offset the costs associated with child care.

WVU Student Family Resources provides a list of childcare and family resources, and local family events and programs. Services include summer camps and programs for school aged children, Mountaineer KidZone, and more.
Mountain Mamma’s Support Group—WVU Working Mother’s Support Group. On facebook. Open to anyone at WVU with children in their daily lives. In addition to mothers, we encourage fathers, grandparents, faculty staff, grad students and post-docs on any of the WVU campuses to join us as well.
WV Summer Care
WV Forward has compiled a list more than 250 statewide 2019 summer care options, including programs offered by West Virginia University, Marshall University and others accredited through the American Camp Association. The goal is to help working parents find quality care options so they can have peace of mind and productive days at work.
“Virtual” parental networking systems for faculty/staff and students. The list serves are a place for moms and dads to discuss childcare issues, share news and information and connect with others who are dealing with the joys and tribulations of being working parents.
