What is it?
This program provides funding for select faculty members to collaborate with external mentors on identified projects that will advance their careers to the next stage. Faculty members also met in peer mentor groups and attended regular faculty development programming.
Why do it?
The relationship with a sponsor is a catalyst for faculty members’ abilities to achieve their goals, whether that’s earning major external grants, publish books and articles, or network with other scholars in their respective fields.
Why it is important?
Sponsors proactively help faculty build networks and gain recognition for their achievements.
