True self is non-self, the awareness that the self is made only of non-self elements. There's no separation between self and other, and everything is interconnected.

Contributions to the team:
Jim believes in the power of individuals and of the group to generate change. Jim
observes, listens intently, shows empathy, connects distinct experiences to broader
social contexts, and develops conceptual complexity to create interconnections
between individuals, theory, experience, and action. He transforms the knowledge
generated in powerful metaphors and narratives that reflect on and defy privilege,
hierarchy, and power, while enriching and touching everyone. Jim devotes his scholarship
and personal life to social change. He is the friend that everyone wants to have.
