Contributions to the team:
As Assistant Professor of Practice and Assistant Director of the ADVANCE Center, Amena enriches the Team’s dynamic as both a leadership scholar and seasoned educational leader-practitioner. Her interpretation and application of critical social theories pertaining to race, gender, organizations and leadership add nuance to our collective understanding, constructively challenge our already rigorous and robust design processes, and inform initiatives like the ADVANCE Change Agent Course, and other equity-promoting faculty/graduate-student professional development offerings.
